It’s been a bit too long since I’ve had a chance to share what I’ve been making for my clients…or share anything…but here’s a small catch up!
I’ve recently made two more films for Whitaker Construction to showcase some of the roles of specific careers within their company: Heavy Equipment Operator (for the water and sewer division) and a Pipe Layer. They use these films on their job listings page as well as showing at job fairs/high schools for potential employees. The goal of them is to help you know what that job does, and possibly scare away anyone who’s not construction worker material. (That would be me…I’d rather be filming it!)
It’s been quite interesting to learn what the roles of these jobs are. They’re not easy, and I’m really thankful to the hard working men who do them to help us live more comfortably!
The first job is a Pipe Layer. I’d never thought about the fact that it takes precision work to do this job. I was quite impressed, honestly!
The next up is a Heavy Equipment Operator, which, let’s face it, is every little boy’s dream! But really, there’s a lot more to it than you think!
I guess the fact that I’m a boy mom and married to someone who’s been in the construction business our whole time together, I feel right at home making these films for Whitaker’s!
